I receive an e-mail every Monday with marketing and advertising advice. This most recent edition of the Monday Morning Memo had something I’d like to share with you.
Who doesn’t exist in your private world? How many billions of people live beyond the edges of your peripheral vision? You might like to believe you care about all living things and value all human life equally but your mind isn’t big enough for that. You can’t wrap your consciousness around everyone and everything on earth. So there will always be People Invisible in your world whether you like it or not.
You can’t wrap your consciousness around everyone and everything on earth. How true. As much as we’d like to believe we can love everyone, we can’t. Our sphere of influence and our limited vision prevents it. How awesome to think, however, that God’s vision is not that narrow. He knows the number of hairs on every one of the 6+ billion people who live on the earth today. In God’s private world, everyone is a “People I know”.
He loves all of us, and wishes all of us to know Him and have a relationship with Him. How beautiful of a concept, and how real an exsistence that God provides.
