One comment – can you turn on comments for older articles? My opinion on the Pentecostal church: they are correct in stating that there is one God in one person or Divine being, which dwells bodily in Jesus Christ. A trinity of three persons is tritheistic. Oddly enough this theology has been developed independently of the theology revealed to Emanuel Swedenborg in the 18th century.

The only issue I have with the Pentecostal church is that some really distort the gift of speaking in tongues. Speaking in tongues is a gift where you actually speak in another foreign language, I knew a minister who witnessed this in Indonesia. The practice of some who get up in church and pronounce utter blabber are just trying to get attention. Not sure if all churches do that, but it is a big turn off, and really the ministers should put an end to that practice.

Hello, If you go to Bro. Griffin's Fat Bones website, http://www.fatbones.info/esword.htm#1, you will see e-sword files as well as Microsoft Word files of his notes. Hope this helps! Also, the e-sword program is a Windows based program which should run without an emulator.

Is there any way you could email me a PDF file of the notes on the Book of Acts by Kelsey Griffin? I have windows Vista and none of the emulators seem to work for me and one even loaded a virus on my computer! I have been asked to develop a course on Acts for an Apostolic Bible College in the UK and these notes would be very helpful to me. I need then as soon as possible and very much appreciate your help.

What do you think about the transmission of the Bible text? Is the Bible inspired by God, written by God, etc… or is it a collection of wisdom recorded by men of their customs and religious traditions?

Make sure you change directory to the Downloads directory before executing wine setup1010.exe
Also, I noticed your prompt says downloads jedediah. Please make sure that it is downloads and not Downloads (which is the default). upper and lower case matters in Mac OSX (Which is a Unix derivative [BSD]).

I’m running 10.8.2. I don’t think I saw any other errors.
I ran those commands successfully. I tried “wine setup1010.exe” and it came back with:

wine: cannot find L”C:\\windows\\system32\\setup1010.exe”
